Question Of The Week

Favorite Age Range to Treat?

For you what is the age range you like to treat? Talk amongst yourselves and get back to us with that answer.

Table Tales

Sometimes PT gets… unexpectedly dramatic.

One afternoon, during what was supposed to be a pretty routine session, a patient was working on some light balance and strength training. Things were going great, they had just nailed their third set of squats and were feeling strong.

Suddenly, they mentioned they were feeling a little “off.”

The therapist paused, checked vitals, and quickly noticed something wasn’t quite right. Within minutes, a full response was underway: a wheelchair appeared, vitals were rechecked, and yep the front desk was calling for EMS.

Everything turned out fine in the end (phew!)

Weekly Exercise

Glute Bridge

Simple and for beginners the glute bridge is a bodyweight excercise that strengths your glutes (of course) and core. Very helpful if you are sitting at a desk often. So be sure to do your glute bridges often!

In case you missed it

Beardstown on-site Treatment

A clinic has partnered with a facility to offer occupational and physical therapy on-site. This means that workers will benefit from early intervention and rehab hoping to have them in work sooner.
